The Real Problem
Funders are not saying no to your mission.
They are saying no to your infrastructure.
Before a funder reads your narrative, they are asking three silent questions:
Most organizations struggle to get funded not because their mission doesn’t matter, but because they can’t prove it with the systems, documents, and digital presence that funders actually require. That gap is not a talent gap. It is a structure gap.
Funding First™ reverses the order. Get structured. Get filed. Then get funded.
The Funding Readiness Path
Most leaders skip the middle.
That’s why they stay stuck.
The Funding First Business and Nonprofit Sprint™ moves you through phases 2, 3, and 4 with guided implementation, accountability, and real-time support.

Your Sprint Guide
Shecara Y. Vardiman, M.A.
Detroit-born scholar-practitioner, nonprofit founder, and organizational leadership doctoral candidate whose research examines technology adoption and mission effectiveness in Wayne County nonprofits.
She has led Esteem We Inc. from 300 to 1,100 annual participants, built infrastructure for mission-driven leaders across five regions, and spent more than a decade translating research into real-world systems that actually work.
She is not just an academic. She is not just a practitioner. She is the bridge between the two.
Why This Is Different
Led by someone who has done the work, and researched it.
Shecara Y. Vardiman, M.A. is a doctoral candidate in Organizational Leadership whose research examines technology adoption and mission effectiveness in Wayne County nonprofits. She is also a nonprofit founder who has led Esteem We Inc. from 300 to 1,100 annual participants; and she has spent a decade helping mission-driven leaders build the systems that let their purpose scale.
She has lived and worked across five regions. She trained in operational excellence with global hospitality brands. She has spent years in the room where leaders get stuck and helped them get unstuck, through structure, strategy, and accountability.
This is not theory. This is what actually works when resources are limited and the stakes are high.

Common Questions
Answers Before You Register
Do I need to have everything in the document checklist before registering?
No. You need to be committed to gathering what is missing before Sprint Day One. The Digital and Funding Readiness Guide shows you exactly what you need and what it costs to obtain it. Come prepared to work with what you have and a plan to fill the gaps.
What if I am a for-profit LLC, not a nonprofit?
The sprint is designed for both, and for leaders operating hybrid structures. The funding readiness infrastructure, digital systems, and documentation work applies whether you are pursuing grants, contracts, investors, or business funding.
I am not tech-savvy. Will I be able to keep up?
Yes. Shecara walks through every tool in real time during sessions. The sprint is designed for leaders who are serious but not yet technical. You will leave with systems that are set up and working, not just explained.
What are Implementation Thursdays?
Implementation Thursdays are your live weekly sprint sessions held every Thursday, 7:00 – 8:30 PM ET, starting March 5, 2026. Each session runs 90 minutes. All sessions are recorded, and replays are included with your registration.
What is the payment plan and what are the terms?
You may pay in full ($497) at registration, or choose a payment plan. Option A is a $197 deposit at registration plus one payment of $300 before Week 4. Option B is a $197 deposit at registration plus two payments of $150 before Week 4. All sales are final. The sprint is non-refundable and non-transferable.
What is the registration deadline?
Registration closes Wednesday, March 4, 2026, the day before the cohort begins. Spots are limited to ensure every participant receives quality implementation support. Do not wait.
I already downloaded the free guide. Do I still need the sprint?
The guide tells you what to build. The sprint is where you actually build it with guidance, accountability, AI integration, guest expert insight, and a cohort of peers moving at the same pace. Most leaders who download the guide and try to implement alone stall within two weeks. The sprint is designed to prevent that.
“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.”, Habakkuk 2:2
Your mission is ready.
Is your infrastructure?
This is the founding cohort. Pricing will not be this low again. Spots are limited. Leaders who arrive prepared move the fastest. Register before March 4 and begin building on March 5.
